>>19563109>>19566286Sensing that the mood has soured Amy quickly assessed her options. She wanted to place a drink on Ash Romero's table and say something profound and embarrassing about it never being too late to start over, but then again maybe Ash would respond by sliding the glass straight onto the floor, if that happened what would Amy do? Walk away and lose the respect of Holly and probably Sheila too? Or start another fight, one she almost certainly couldn't win. The last time Amy and Ash fought she was destroyed in an entirely one-sided affair, an ordeal she was not looking to repeat, certainly not tonight. Even if things went well and Holly jumped in a two-on-one public beatdown of a respected veteran and head coach of the WWA Dojo would hardly play well online. Amy could take the hit, it's not like her career was on an upward trajectory anyway - after all tonight's match was her third loss in a row.
Holly on the other hand was a star in the making and everyone knew it. No matter what the cost Amy knew that she couldn't do anything that would jeopardise Holly's standing in the company or in the eyes of the fans. Just being seen in public together was probably bad enough. The Alpha and an Angel, you can only imagine what the dorks on Tweetstagram would react.
Then there was Sheila Foster, a woman Amy had wanted to get to know long before she took her first bump in the Dojo, but alas the time was never right, there were always other people around, not that Amy was unhappy with her current company or anything.
Considering how the evening had gone so far there was only one correct thing to do.
>"Hey Holly, if you want to leave I'll walk you home. Sheila is right, these... uh... cunts might have backup nearby."
