>>19397939"Hey Raven. You look like shit." Prophet entered the room, with a look of pity on her face.
>P-Prophet...?Kanako had never met her in person.
"Mind if I sit?" Prophet asked before grabbing a chair without her answer and pulling a laptop out of her bag. She quickly opened it and started typing.
"Here, take this." Prophet stopped and dug into her bag, pulling out a plastic sealed syringe full of a solid gray liquid. She tossed it at Kanako and started typing away at her laptop.
"There we go. Cameras are off now. Didn't I tell you to take that?" Prophet shut her laptop and turned to Kanako. Kanako silently opened the plastic wrapper around the syringe, pulled it out, and injected it into her left arm.
>I...I screwed up really bad, Prophet. She muttered, half heartedly tossing the empty syringe across the room.
"Goddammit. Lemme get that." Prophet stood up, picking up the empty syringe and putting it into her bag.
"You're lucky. If they had given you a MRI it would've ripped all those implants straight out of you. I'm on top of that sort of shit though so I stopped it." Prophet said as she sat back down. She then took a deep breath.
"I'm the one who fucked up really bad Raven. I made a deal with Nika. Your profile for info she had. Behind your back. She said she just wanted to know who you were. I was a fucking moron and bought that. What I gave her was redacted when it comes to GEIST, but not you. And I got screwed. I'm sorry." Prophet spoke, not looking at Kanako. Kanako just looked at her confused.
>What?"I made a bad call. And you paid the price. I'm sorry." Prophet kept her gaze straight ahead, unable to look Kanako in the eyes. Kanako's eyes drifted back to her bedsheets. She hated hospitals.
