I'm scared to go to sleep because for the last 2 days when I've woken up my left eye is irritated and feels like it's being sandpapered when it moves around inside my eyelids, i've tried to just keep my eye closed and not move my eyeball but it's almost impossible to do that for more than seconds at a time. My best short term relief is to open my eyes and stare at a fixed point but eventually i have to for christ's sake EVEN BLINKING HURTS.
so i whimper and stumble around for about 20 minutes until i eventually start crying in frustration from the sharp eyeball pain which cannot be stopped or abated in any meaningful way, when the tears flow out i immediately lay down so that they lubricate my eyeball instead of going down my face, this is how i made the horrific, prometheus-like torture finally stop this morning, but only after my eye had turned blood red from the ordeal...
