Something like treasury notes or simply day trade with pump and dump stocks where the mere movement of my capital in and out of the stock will raise it and then when I sell it, profit take. Basically I would make it so that what I would spend off the billion dollars would only be the money I would make from the billion dollars and never actually diminish my original starting capital.
Then I would buy some of those multi-thousand acre tracks of land and develop the fuck out of it. I would create mini hydroelectric dams and sell the excess electricity to the grid. I would buy land that would have natural gas reserves and lease out the mineral rights for a cut of the money for that which they extract.
