News flash: Jesus and the apostles lived in the Roman Empire. They spoke ancient languages like Latin and Greek. They wore robes. They used buildings with Roman architecture. They had Roman customs and manners.
Protestantism was founded 1500 years after Christ and it shows. Do you really think the original Christians wore 10 gallon cowboy hats and performed contemporary Christian rock at their services?
