>>21534364I don't need a series to be deep to be enjoyable, but it really depends on the genre. I can enjoy things like K-On and Lucky Star for what they are. But if I'm looking for something with a more serious tone, it needs to have some depth to it. Like, if you haven't seen it, The Promised Never Land was amazing, but you need to go into it without reading what it's about. Seriously, a synopsis of the show just ruins it.
