You may look at Christianity as some sort of bondage, but in reality the yoke of Christ is light, and it is what leads to true freedom instead of a miserable life in bondage by sin. This is God's plan of salvation: a paradox that confounds man's wisdom; by becoming a slave (a slave to Christ), one is made free.
