The church isn't supposed to win in the end. God is supposed to win in the end. Did Jesus say anything about, "I'm making a new church that will win in the end?" I never saw anything like that.
IMO, most Catholics will find it easier to believe that God is wrong than to think thier piece of shit centered on the throne of the denier might have been wrong, which it was and continues to be.
