Manga, anime, video games, asian food takeouts - it's all a product of americanized Japanese due to occupation after the WW2 who wanted to cater to their new rulers.
It's so funny when you consider yourself to be so nonconformist when in reality you're more obsessed with American culture than the average American who - let's face it - is mostly ambivalent about it.
