>>19297681Yeah, German ancestry isn't uncommon but it's too hot all year round to drink that stuff anywhere outside the south, or maybe integration played a part, diasporas don't really keep their own culture for the most part. I don't know if it's the same drink either, we call it hot wine and it's more zesty rather than spiced, maybe it's not germanic in origin.
