I find it so dumb everyone in skyrim is so unarmored, but whatever its not like sets of daemon plate is dropping out of the sky for them neither is the empire that well equipped or rich and nord smiths make their steel plates overpriced
light armor would look better if it was just less metal version of heavy armor. Except stuff like thieves/darkbrotherhood/nightingale kit which should gave some pieces made of metal on it in certain places while the rest is the standard leather design
