All the people peddling spirituality on the internet are liars who arent aware they are lying because all relgions depend on freedom of will and security of the brain. Once that goes out the window you might as well just burn all the religious books as well as all the psychology books and all the philsophy books and all the self help books because once you can interface and control the human brain externally you can make anyone do or believe anything while bypassing normal limitations of biology.
I would ask the question and its a horrific question but if we can force transgenders or homosexuality into a system where they are indeed what they claim to be via brain control and genetic manipulation does that make it okay? I mean we give p[eople hearing aids, we give old men trt, we use all sorts of prosthetics and medications never heard of before to enhance life and increase our control and determination over our own selves and what defines health, is there some kind of self imposed limitation like we should do this but we shouldnt do that? If we can use plastic surgery to reconstruct a face or a body should we allow it for purely cosmetic purposes or to enhance people? It seems that ethics is determined by who has power and who can say what is right because I dont see God hurling asteroids as San Fransisco or Fort Lauderdale
