I've always imagined that it takes a bit of skill to be able to paint models and whatever properly, has to be pretty precise and a bad enough mistake could mess the whole thing up, no? I don't actually know the process, but, yeah. I'm sure it'll be fun though, you probably did make the right choice, and it'll feel satisfying after you get it done properly.
