Why is British food so bland? I spent a few days in London recently and I was disgusted by how bad the food was. Every stupid meme about the English not using seasoning was true; it's like the people never heard of salt, pepper, garlic, or pan-frying. Why haven't they copied things from the Americans, French or Spanish?
