>>17835852Because most people on here who aren't Jews trying to avoid blame for killing Christ are former Protestants from formerly Protestant countries who used the "Reformation" as an excuse to seize Church property and form state churches with the reagent as their head. With the collapse of Protestantism, the anti-Catholic bias still exists and so they cling to racial idolatry and blame all of their ills on Christianity since they largely have no understanding of the Christian history of Europe or Scandanavia.
The fact is that their ancestors left those religions behind largely voluntarily, with a couple of minor exceptions (forced conversions were always condemned by the Church, and anyone who tells you otherwise hasn't read Church history), because those religions had no answer to the philosophy and theology presented by the Church.
There were certainly positive aspects to the pagan religions and many of the traditions which were not contrary to the Faith were maintained, but most of the European pagan religions died out because they were ultimately empty.
