Paris Hilton stopped by, turned the whole block into a total shit show. I see Tycho play a sunrise set each year on thursday, always look forward to that, but mostly actually spend time at Jazz Camp. There's everything, it's 75,000 people and you can find a stage for anything from metal to bluegrass, any house variety, techno, trance.
The real thing is there's no set playlist or stagelist. Some will be announced, but if you want to see the good shows, the big artists on the intimate stage, you have to know people and ask around. Like I said, diplo played at the camp next to us one night (tiny suburbs), and at a major sound camp on the esplanade 2 nights later, and neither was advertised anywhere in print
