There were thousands of jews(mostly belonging to the 2 tribes judah and benjamin) who lived in Rome since even before 100BC, who enjoyed all the rights the empire had to offer. and unlike for example the pagan gauls who were treated like absolute dogshit after they were conquered, the jews on the other hand were treated like kings and were free to practice judaism even after they were conquered. Even after the jewish revolts and jews were expelled from palestine the romans opened up the rest of the empire to them. In fact, jews were even allowed priviligies, especially economic ones, and were even allowed into positions of power aswell. Fuck man, they were even allowed to create their own communities WITHIN Rome, with their own laws and their own courts. it wasnt before Christianity became state religion that these rights were restricted and jews constantly got expelled and massacred, or forced to live in ghettos.
