Like I've said, though, the live 3Ds are significantly better already. But they're obviously more expensive, so there's a kind of waiting period before they get them. For events IRL they just project those somehow, kinda like a bootleg hologram.
The infrastructure for the real deal would be so much more expensive. But I can imagine that particular spaces - like a holo cafe - might have them, since you could make the building specifically with that in mind. That's just with current hologram tech too. Who knows how it will work in the future. You can see, also, how a cafe like that might seem desirable if things continue as they are, so maybe we'll start seeing stuff like that soon.
