I can't imagine Josie studying (or even pronouncing) neuro-linguistic programming. But I can imagine people like Sam Hyde and his pals knowing about these things. They could've given Josie some basic instructions in order to help her build an audience on their show. I don't know enough about the specific techniques to identify them, but it's interesting to speculate about.
