>>15471072I use this salt (exact brand) because the crystals are nice and flat so it sticks to the food better and it's easier to grab pinches off of. Table salt just rolls off the food and is a lot harder to pinch because it rolls off my fingers. Nothing to do with jews or their culture, purely for convenience.
I used to use maldon sea salt (it's way better imo) but it's just way too expensive.
