I blame a lack of meaningful social and personal identifiers within societies for minorities and specifically males for the ever-expanding catalog of music genre rolodexing. There are literally more genres of popular music now than there were professional musicians during the popularization of the electric guitar.

There are two types of music, for me. Music that moves me, and music that doesn't.
