>>19379972>>19379973In a nearby room, Kelly has just finished watching Nikki's promo. She grits her teeth. Everything she planned has gone horribly wrong. Worst of all there's no apparent way to turn it around. The video on her phone was the only copy, and her phone was destroyed when Nikki threw it at her.
Now, all she had to show for her efforts was a challenge from an enraged psycho. A psycho that tackled her out of an upstairs window without any hesitation. As Kelly thinks back on that moment, a chill goes down her spine. She couldn't imagine the girl she spent the evening with curb stomping a man to death the way she did in that video.
But in that moment, the moment right before Nikki nearly killed them both, Kelly saw it. She saw the killer. It was almost as if Nikki turned into a different person before her very eyes. And now, she had to wrestle her. Kelly's heart races. Not fear this time. Excitement.
She didn't win her B1 Block. But she came a lot closer than anyone would have predicted. And if she could beat Nikki Kade, that would be a far bigger scalp than any of the possible opponents in the B1 would have been. It could be the sort of win to propel her career to the next level. And with neither of them being at 100% after that fall, anything could happen. Kelly chuckles. Even in disaster, an opportunity has presented itself.
But if she was going to take that opportunity, she couldn't afford to suffer any further injury. Nikki clearly isn't alone, someone was holding her camera, and taking her word about not coming looking for her would be unwise. Kelly on the other hand, knows she has no one to back her up. Kasumi is probably drunk somewhere and Cassie is out of the country, and even if she wasn't, she'd be more likely to be in Nikki's room. With that in mind, Kelly limps toward the door of her hospital room, she needed to get out of here before the whole Divine Angels posse showed up.
