Likely it's impossible, if time is a stream, you'd change it, if time is an infinite fraction and you hopped on, you'd either get onto the same one unable to believe you weren't dreaming and it would change nothing, or you'd get onto one where all the things you thought you knew became increasingly useless as you changed things.
