I would have besieged Gibraltar, invaded Sicily and used hundreds of cannons to fortify the French coast. Then I would have ordered the constitution of a massive fleet to beat Britain at the sea. Yeah that sounds suicidal, but the alternative is to get BTFO in Russia. I would study the battle of Trafalgar to learn from the errors committed in that battle. I would have baited the British, making them think that I was building the ships in the Netherlands, while actually building them deep into mainland, in the Rhône and Po rivers, to send them to the Mediterranean and take tge British by surprise.
