I had just found out yesterday that "Spacetoon" is included in my cable TV, which is the very channel I constantly hear Arabs praising for loving it when they were kids. I decided to check it out and, to be honest, what I've seen was overall disappointing. There were a lot of animes and some western cartoons here and there, but the voice-acting was bad, the scenes were cut up weird, and every anime I've seen on this channel (except for Doraemon and Yokai Watch) were obscure modern children shows that I think are only popular in Japan.
The openings were also bland, like, the unbearable kind of bland. They were nothing like the amazing catchy openings and theme songs I've watched and heard on YouTube. It's almost like there was no passion put into them.
Can you tell me what's wrong? Did I just tune in at the wrong time or did I miss the golden age? I'm quite confused.
