I for one dropped the show from OP's post because it felt like it was really more for children and not in the good way. Like an attempt at being something that it isn't, a half-punch. Someone made comparison to ENA in thread and I think that's a really good example of that mixed-mode brilliance.
Ironic because I rather like Gooseworx in general for Newgrounds stuff. It just didn't feel right. It's probably because the show was modeled more for the children's show format and is missing that snappy quality in favor of the slow pacing.
I'll stick with Wakka.
