>>9919710This is a very interesting question, because Satan as the tempter of mankind never personally carries out any of the sins with which he tempts man. I'm going to take a stab at this and say that his great sins are those of Pride and Deception. Pride, not in the everyday, non-biblical sense; but in the sense that he has separated himself from the ultimate good that is God (indeed, Satan is unique in that his very nature constitutes his evil, rather than his actions). Just as Pride defines his relationship with God, Deception defines his relationship with mankind, and is the inevitable byproduct of his Pride. In the Bible, mankind always suffered pain and death when they allowed themselves to be fooled by the lies of the Adversary.
