Its bizzare how in hollywood and in other media you would be led to believe otherwise but womens' true colors, I think, are made naked by our current place in history. A woman's purpose in life, her only ultimate goal, is essentially to satiate herself of her immediate needs which is just sex and shelter. Goals of men are nothing like goals of women... Well obviously of course, but atleast men have goals that are not entirely selfish and almost always stem from nothing more than a desire to grow as a person...to become better at something. Maybe his goal is self serving in the end but only peripherally. I think there are exceptions to this such as greed but generally is the truth.
Perhaps some parts of the world are not as similar in this regard as others but i speak only for the US.
