>>15915830>basically there is nothing wrong with some esotheric views, but gnosticism as such is a path i feel does not lead to a bright futureThe open mind can receive much more then the closed one, in my experience.
You display the arrogance and egotistical views that turn me and others away from you. As if you know better.
I'd rather trust my experience over yours, nothing personal. I believe in Christ, because of events in my life tho, not because of words written in a book by man claiming to be prophets because, it's written by man that they were prophets.
For me, there is truth in much of the Bible, and falsehoods in just as much.
I trust my heart, I have faith, but not in mans written word.
You make bold assertions with little to reinforce them except your own ego, I think.
You say Gnosticism is akin to the Kabballah and freemasons? A belief cannot pick who believes in it and how they use those beliefs in the world. So idc what masons believed.
As for it being similar to the Kabballah, how so? The only goal I have found that all branches of Gnosticism share is the goal to achieve gnosis, which is to be a good soul, full of forgiveness, sacrifice, and tolerance.
I think your full of yourself and kinda full of shit. But I forgive you and hope you find your way on this Journey.
Attachment is suffering, it really is. Let go of your attachment to your ego and you will forever be a changed man, with less distractions on your way to being the good soul you know you can be.
