>>16469847I know pretty much nothing, yeah. Don't even know if we still have them here, or what's going on.
It's pretty funny whenever people mention the genocide to me for some reason, though. It happened like, what, a hundred years ago? Motherfucker, did I do it? Why are you asking me about it? Imagine if you as an American were constantly asked about the retarded shit your people did, hundreds of years ago. It's not like literally every single country ever doesn't have atrocities that it has done.
It's not as if those things should be forgotten, but I have no idea why it needs to be brought up to people like me who don't care or know anything about it, as if the people that did the atrocity a whole century are still alive and people that I hang out with. It's like the distant family of a celebrity being bickered after it gets found out that they beat their wife. I could stop like a hundred people on the street and ask them about the topic, and they would have nothing to say about it.
The state of the country right now, it's pretty bad as far as I know. You could go on about almost anything at the moment if you were going to spread propaganda about how much it sucks, instead of bringing up things over a century old that has literally everybody involved with it dead.
I guess it actually shows how little somebody knows of the place if that's the first thing they point towards, because it's just the most well-known "muh bad thing" that the country has done. It's like if somebody said "the holocaust!" if asked why Germany today is a bad place, instead of addressing the messed up stuff that is being applied to people of today.
I've no idea if Armenians are still around the country today and still bothered by us or anything, but yeah, I couldn't care less. Charlimit.
