Yep. I blame America entirely, the fighting in the east was never clear cut. What is interesting is that in the late stages of the war, the Russians and even a few of the Brits estimated that without lend-lease, Germany would have thrust into Russia and the middle east, solving many of her largest problems (oil, supply chains). It's strange because US estimates make it sound like Germany was doomed, whereas the Russians, who are most famous for and stand to gain the most from such propaganda, admit they were running out of everything but tanks and reserve manpower.
