The very reason the Oklahoma City bombing was so effective is that by the time anyone realizes if they do at all that it's happening it's already too late.
This could actually make for a very terrifying and effective means of say robbing a gas station or a check cashing location. While they may have ballistic proof glass it probably won't save them from blowing the wall out around it. I'd say that someone put in the situation of being threatened with a bomb which endangers their life as well as who knows how many others is going to be more compliant if not as compliant as being threatened with a gun.
