>>18884486That's the problem with modern paganism, there is no unifying codex and so a lot of pagans are people fleeing Abrahamic religions that want something more liberal, cute and friendly so that's the type of people it attracts. They don't realize that paganism, the real one, was violent, primal, radically ethnic and superstitious.
Besides that, paganism (for me) is not just LARPing as a worshiper of some ancient roman/greek god and do offerings to a statue or a tree. No, paganism is tradition, paganism is pride and respect of your ancestors, paganism is that which emanates from a people that live close to the earth, it is that glue, that spirit, that common link between a people of the same blood. That is something worth preserving and continuing into the future.
