I grew my hair out in 2015, thinking it would look good on me, I imagined it would look amazing. But I was disappointed. My facial structure, height, body shape, etc. didn't work with it, and eventually I gave up on it and kept my hair at medium length. It was curly, so it still had a lot of volume.
Nowadays, I go for fashion, haircuts, & makeup that work with my natural appearance. But yeah, it was *not* gender dysphoria. I just naturally lean towards my feminine side.
