It seemed that compared to every other part of nature, modern humans really don't fit well into the whole timeline. Either humans are a really complicated mutation or there was some outside influence to boost their development. Humans aren't natural - that was the feeling that gnawed on me the whole time I did that timeline. I mean, officially it took millions and hundreds of thousands of years for humans to evolve and start forming civilizations but just a couple of thousand to just explode and develop the means to just wipe out everything on the surface of the earth.
It felt really weird... I don't illustrate encyclopedias anymore.
