Pretty much all the reported HIMARS kill stories have been vatnigger whining, lies, and bullshit.
However, at the end of the Summer, I read what looked like credible reports (or, better, "rumors") that two of them had been destroyed. Never saw confirmation or pix, so I don't consider them confirmed kills, just somewhere between "likely" and "probable." Or maybe it was one or none.
Thing is, I consider OpSec to be serious. And so does Ukraine and the West in general. IF this happened, there are a lot of reasons not to announce or confirm. And, I'm comfortable with that.
We also no longer know how many are in-country. Originally there were 16, then another 20, from the U.S. Supposedly there were two or four from another country (probably the UK) and then another "few" from other countries, like maybe another 4 or 6 total. Since the batch of 20 was announced (and delivered during the Summer), there have been announcements of more HIMARS being sent from the U.S. The numbers haven't been available, and it wasn't even clear if they were replacing broken/damaged/destroyed ones from earlier in the year or if a new lot was sent. I tried to track down a story about 24 more HIMARS being sent in addition to the 36 confirmed, but I never confirmed that.
It's possible there are 50 or 60 HIMARS in Ukraine right now. Or even more. OpSec is real and should be kept in mind that many threads and troll posts really are vatniggers trying to gather intelligence. It's fun to fuck around with that and pollute the information stream.
Other note here: there are a number of different rockets & payloads that can be digested by a HIMARS. Limits on what could be sent to Ukraine have been changed to be quite a bit more generous than back in May. The ammo & support equipment has all been upgraded since July/August so we can no longer be certain of tactical capabilities. Range used to be about 80-ish to 100-ish KM. Now it seems a good bit more, but OpSec.
