There is a refractory period
Over stimulation is a lot of fun, but there is some level of pain accompanied with it. And the clitoris and vagina as a whole DOES get very sore if over used. Yes you CAN over stimulate a clit and it CAN be uncomfortable and unfun. Especially if you're touching the clit directly, which is often too sensitive and equals more pain than pleasure. It's why girls massage the clitoral hood instead of the clit directly.
I'm not saying girls have nearly as bad of a refractory period as guys do. But it does vary per girl, what's done, and for how long.
Girls can also go a LOT longer WITHOUT cumming than guys and while I don't really consider it one, some girls consider that a refractory period. Zero horny for a few days or a week and then they can go ham and cum like 4-5 times in a row.
