Banter, good OC, and quality threads are either ignored by people who’d rather partake in the discord drama circlejerk or gaypost for the attention. Combine this with all the spam and it’s very clear why /bant/ is losing its enjoyability.
Enough pessisism though, that only gets us further down and unwilling to make good threads like these. Quality gems and memes can still be found and enjoyed by people on here, and even though it’s going slowly, I’ve felt a sense of community returning to /bant/.
It’s a little hard to explain what I mean, but the best example that I can come up with is the whole Guild fad. Some people made fun of it for the luls but for the most part everyone that wanted to partake had a good time, and even though it only lasted for two days I’ll always remember it.
