Plenty of white collar workers still dress like that and if you go to the business district of any major city in the US, you’ll see people dressed like that. I think the bigger problem comes from too many people outside this country thinking that all of the United States looks like New York, it doesn’t. There are lots and lots and lots of low income neighborhoods and counties in this country.
