>>11469280it's been a pretty notoriously horrendous experience for a while. now. the cap goes up every expansion so you'd have to do more and more leveling with a larger portion of it getting more outdated every time. i suppose that they finally decided it was painful enough to invest the resources into making it better
they're actually splitting the prepatch into 2 since they're so behind from 'rona and such. this one was just the system changes, in a few weeks they'll add some teaser events and such to do at endgame, then the expansion proper will come out a few weeks after that
