>>13885083>It's a nice change though, to see someone concerned with what they're saying in a place like this.i suppose you're right, though i'm not sure if there's really a place for it outside of these types of interactions...
>>13885288>overstaying its welcome is the worst thing a good piece of media can doi think it depends on how it's done. if it's just a few spinoff shows and maybe another movie or two to help connect everything and give a solid conclusion, then i'm cool with it.
if it's just a blatant cash grab, then that sucks in a major way lulz. best example is probably superhero films, how people can continue to stomach the rate at which those are churned out will always boggle my mind.

quote:
>Well — I've gotten around at last to the William Hope Hodgson books, & am very pleasantly disappointed. "The Boats Of the Glenn Carrig" is really magnificent except for a slight letdown & petering out (adventure and romance gaining the ascendancy) in the last quarter [...]quite interesting to me.
>I was learning to live on my owni have not had that luxury yet, it kind of scares me to move out to another city or town i barely know.

>a lot of people seem to make connections and get into relationships while in college.you're right. almost everyone i knew who went to college ended up with entirely new social circles. this is more of a me issue, since i am a sad shut in. it is not something i mind, frankly.
>What does is what to do in lifei get that, it's ideal to enjoy things to the best of your ability so you have few regrets later on in life.
