Faith comes from a trusting of God, but we are free to ask for faith if all we can manage to accomplish is a desire for it.
If you feel like your faith is weak; ask God, and He will give to you abundantly.
Listening for, and then hearing, the call of God is the first encounter with understanding the desire for faith.
Every mentioning of God throughout the life of a person is yet another calling; ignore it at your peril.
But once you heed that call and ask Him for more, you have taken a short, yet monumental, step towards knowing Him.
What do you have to lose by asking for faith if you lack it already?
