A lot of seed based number generators all over the world generate numbers. In this randomisation, patterns can be found, indicated by the graph's dot being on the top or the bottom. if the dot stays in this non random state for some time it means something big is going to happen. Global Consciousness Project predicted some awesome events.
But it's not scientific for many reasons.
The dot is just fun.
