I have a period of at least 3-4 months where I don't drink a single drop. My doctor checked me two months ago, perfect bloodwork, no fatty liver, no enlarged liver, and no liver scarring.
Things you can do to support your liver (in my opinion, form my experience... I'm obviously not a doctor). Bitter stuff produces bile juice which helps your liver. As you pointed out, coffee is great. Supplement worth checking out are: Milk thistle, artichoke, dandelion, stinging nettles etc. You can buy bitter drops like picrel, they will help with the liver. If you drink a lot and are constantly tired, weak, in a shitty mood, have joint pain etc. try taking a break and doing some of that stuff I talked about. Also, stay away from sugar and other goyslop, lots of water and herbal tees!
