>>3744649Okay sure then. Unfortunately, none come to mind. But a great book, which is not a very long read either, is "Storm of Steel", written by Ernst Jünger. I discovered this book while studying political philosophy, and it turned out to be a very good one about his experience during WWI. It might not be quite what you're looking for, but it is worth a read in my opinion.
