If Christians remained tolerant like Constantine, Jews would have not been able to exploit Arabs into starting their own empire with a faker and gayer revenge religion they created for them. And perhaps the western half wouldn't have fell to the barbarian hordes in the first place. The weakness of Christianity was the smallest religious disputes cutting into politics being a big distraction from everything else.
