Let's say everything's justificated until it is done by a human being.
Every single action since the date of his birth were conditioned as right for the situation with all the knowledge and all different variables (like for example - being sleepy or being sensitive towards certain weather types..)
..but then again - if one of the variables, which affected or maybe even brought him to that one decision, even if it was commenced by his own, rationalized by life's experience will, wouldn't that also be justificated..?
Even if the fact of him being tired cased thousands of lives to be cutted off their destiny paths. If a lamplighter blacked out at his lantern, thus crashing the ships during the storm, the fact that he didn't take enough rest to do his job could only ever be unjustified if due to other elements - such as the weather and all nature~
The only type of law that conflicts humans perfection, thus forcing it to progress and develop, are laws of physics, chemistry etc. because they are in control of everything else, as well as our biological standpoint.
I bet that every war has started with a bad and unpleasant rainy day in a wrong place on a wrong time~
