/bant/ was from the beginning intended to be a mad max wasteland board. Taking the shit from imptrash, pol, redit, whatnot, etc, and to see what would come out of it.
Today, /bant/ has developed it's own hikikomori way to retaliate, to form circlejerks, to be (genuinely) artistic, and the last but not least, to become an unique culture being able to pitch in even in the dearest state of slow boredom.
/bant/ can genuinely be like a bored-to-hell outpost like Sebastian Junger described this officer in his book
