>>18424561as the owner of multiple pitbulls, boxers, a husky, and a German sheppard over the past 25 years. I'm gonna say it's 100% how you raise the dog. These breeds of dogs need to be taken on long(2+ miles) walks every single day, you need to be strong enough to pick them up and flip them upside down when they don't behave, and while you can give the dog some freedom to run around the yard and be a dog, or to play with their toys. It is absolutely essential that you force them to follow every command you give them, they let you touch every parts of their bodies, they let you touch and feed them their own food while they are eating, they sit while you prepare and serve their meals, they follow you through every doorway (if they rush before you drag them back and close the door on them, etc. if you raise a good dog, you will have a good dog no matter the breed.
