Listening to it now, it's nice and sort of dreamy, i think i've heard it before. I don't listen to music that much lately (who would've thought, being a DJ and all that), but i did watch a lot of skate movies back then when i was skateboarding, and those movies used a lot of legendary songs as background, as skaters are a very diverse bunch of people, and they usually let them pick their own songs for their parts, so you would hear everything from rock, rap, metal, punk, etc... in a space of half an hour (the usual length for a skate movie).
Also it's funny you'd bring up diamonds as i found pic related in the house, the previous owner/tenant having left it here, i was told he was a hippie and went on trips to India. Is there a way to determine what it is made of? I could try weighing it and putting it into a glass of water to see how much of it it displaces and figuring out it's specific weight and then comparing that to the materials i suspect it's made of... I'll just assume it's ordinary glass until then.
